Bastianini, Suzuki and Aegerter rose to the top in MotoGP's lower classes

Moto2 saw Enea Bastianini blast to his first victory in the middle class while it was Tatsuki Suzuki took his first win of the year and become the first rider to win at Jerez in Moto3 from pole position. The Moto2 category saw a less eventful race this time out with Enea Bastianini controlling the action for the majority of the race. The Italtrans Racing Team’s rider finished 2.1 second in front of Sky Racing Team VR46’s Luca Marini. Valentino Rossi’s Moto2 team’s Marco Bezzecchi completed the podium for the third race of the season after starting the second Jerez battle from the pole position.
