Hamilton on future within Formula 1: 'I haven't reached my peak yet'
Something has changed in Lewis Hamilton. 12 months ago was adamant he wasn't bothered about records, but now he is within touching distance of Michael Schumacher's elusive total of seven F1 world championships. The British driver won his sixth F1 world championship at the United States Grand Prix last weekend. In a long interview for Mercedes themselves, Hamilton was asked about when he will retire. The 34-year-old turns 35 in January and has one more year left on his current contract. But it seems as if he'll stretch that in 2021 and beyond.
