Italian Grand Prix – Ferrari's Charles Leclerc used a last-gasp flying lap on dry tyres to go fastest in a rain affected first practice at Monza. With a heavy deluge of rain overnight, the intermittent showers through Friday morning meant a cold and damp Monza circuit greeted the drivers as the first practice session began. Unsurprisingly, it was a quiet start to the session with some installation laps put in on the Intermediate and Wet tyres.
