Lawrence Stroll 'couldn't be happier' with son Lance's performance in Canada

Racing Point owner Lawrence Stroll was very proud of his son Lance Stroll, who finished ninth at his home Grand Prix in Canada after starting  17th, as Racing Point's boss said he "couldn't be happier" with the way the race unfolded. Lance failed to make it out of Q1 yet again, making it 11 straight times without making it further in qualifying, but the Canadian again was very competitive once the five lights went out. He picked off drivers around him quickly and sealed his drive at the end as he overtook McLaren driver Carlos Sainz for ninth place, earning two points for Racing Point.
