Ferrari has notified the FIA that it intends to appeal the penalty that cost Sebastian Vettel victory in Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix. Vettel was hit with a five-second time penalty for unsafely rejoining the track when defending the lead from Lewis Hamilton on Lap 48 in Montreal, forcing the Mercedes driver to take evasive action.
