Ricciardo believes Renault 'seem to be close to where we’re aiming' in Canada

Renault has underperformed in 2019, but Daniel Ricciardo believes his team have moved closer to where they want to be after a positive result in Friday's practice ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix. Ricciardo finished in P8 in both sessions while Nico Hulkenberg danced either side of the top 10. The Australian was particularly pleased with the short runs, but there's still a small question mark surrounding the long runs. "We seem to be close to where we’re aiming but still want a bit more.
