Verstappen plays down Australian GP chances

Max Verstappen has played down his chances of winning the opening race of the 2019 Formula 1 season in Australia, saying the team isn't yet ready to top the podium, but insists the team must still compete towards the front to get their season off to a positive start. His boss, Dr Helmut Marko, has been ramping up the Dutchman's hopes, predicting "five wins" this year and a potential tilt at the world championship. But at an event in Japan prior to heading to Australia, Max said: "We will not win a race straight away with the new Honda engine.
