March deadline for Zandvoort

In an open letter to the Netherlands Minister of Sport, its Vice Minister of Economic Affairs, the Provinces of Noord-Holland and Drenthe, the Cities of Zandvoort and Assen and Formula One Management, Netherlands Sports Council (NLSportraad), has called on businesses to support the idea of the Dutch Grand Prix returning to the F1 calendar. Last month it was revealed that there will be no government funding for a Dutch Grand Prix, sports minister, Bruno Bruins, stating that the government could not invest in such an event as it would not be a justifiable use of taxpayers money.
