Lance Stroll is on the same level as Esteban Ocon in F1 - Racing Point
Racing Point Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer has said Lance Stroll is already at the same level as predecessor Esteban Ocon. The young Canadian ran in the VJM11 during the post-race Abu Dhabi tyre test, completing 178 laps for the team and finished fourth out of 19 drivers in the combined leaderboard over the two days. It was subsequently announced that Stroll will race for the Racing Point team in 2019 alongside F1 stalwart Sergio Perez at the Silverstone-based outfit. Stroll's father, Lawrence, led a consortium to buy the team after it had fallen into administration during the summer break.
