Bottas ranks 2018 as his worst season in F1 so far

Valtteri Bottas has labelled his 2018 campaign as the “worst season” of his Formula 1 career based on his results. Bottas has failed to win so far in his second year with Mercedes and is looking to avoid becoming the first driver not to score a grand prix victory for the team since Michael Schumacher in 2012 at this weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Finn had a difficult first campaign in an uncompetitive Williams during 2013, before the team’s fortunes improved in the early phase of the V6 hybrid era.
