Ocon Has Not Spoken to Wolff about Severing Mercedes Ties amid Career Uncertainty
Esteban Ocon has revealed that no talks have taken place between himself and Toto Wolff about the possibility of severing his ties with Mercedes-Benz in order to improve his chances of securing a Formula 1 race seat in 2019. The likes of the Renault Sport Formula One Team and McLaren F1 Team had been linked with bringing the Frenchman to their outfit next season, only to be put off by his links to Mercedes, while Christian Horner has said that Ocon will not join the Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda outfit next season whilst under contract with their on-track rivals.
