F1's issues should spur on 2021 revamp, believes Brown

McLaren CEO Zak Brown believes that the current underlying problems within the sport should trigger Liberty Media to push on with the major rules change for 2021... Brown believes that rather than the owners of F1 responding to the problems with a cautious attitude, they should be more aggressive with their mannerisms and try to push on with their huge alteration. "I think we have all seen it coming, and I don't envy what Liberty inherited because this started a while ago," Brown explained to Motorsport.com. "Bernie (Ecclestone, former owner) had control of it and was keeping it together, but it was a bit of a ticking time bomb, and now some things have exploded....
