Red Bull 'can be champions' with Renault - Abiteboul

Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul has warned Red Bull that leaving the French marque for Honda could be tantamount to giving up a return to championship-winning form. Red Bull are due to make a decision over their engine supplier for 2019 and beyond at the end of this month. Red Bull dominated Formula 1 with Renault power between 2010 and 2013 as they won four consecutive drivers' and constructors' titles with Sebastian Vettel at the wheel. However, they have only won 10 races in the turbo hybrid era, as Mercedes have streaked clear and Ferrari have out-developed Renault.
