Vettel & Arrivabene blame traffic for loss of podium

Japanese Grand Prix – Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel missed out on the final podium spot, having been passed by Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton through the final round of pitstops. The Ferrari driver had climbed up to P3 and fighting with eventual P2 finisher Max Verstappen after starting from P6 due to a gearbox penalty. Having had a five second lead over Lewis Hamilton prior to the final round of pitstops, Vettel ended up behind the Mercedes after pitting just a lap before Hamilton. Armed with Soft tyres for the final 17 laps, while all around him were using Hards, Vettel's initial challenge to reclaim the final podium spot from Hamilton faded quickly and he had to resign himself to P4....
