Hamilton pips Rosberg by less than a tenth to claim pole Lewis Hamilton comfortably post fastest lap-time in Canada by claiming pole position for Sunday’s race. The Defending world champion made it clear he’s targeting a second straight victory by claiming his 53rd career pole position ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton was just 0.062s faster than Rosberg following setting his fastest lap on his first attempt in Q3, but his final attempt meant failed to improve. Rosberg also failed his second attempt following big locked a tyre at Turn 1. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel will start third, while Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen round out the top five… more to follow...
