Kvyat: I would have beaten Ricciardo

Daniil Kvyat believes he could have beaten former team-mate, Daniel Ricciardo in terms of championship points by the end of the season, if he had not been demoted to Toro Rosso. Prior to the Spanish Grand Prix, the Russian racing driver was demoted to junior Red Bull team, Scuderia Toro Rosso after his high profile crash with Sebastian Vettel. The Russian outscored Ricciardo in 2015 by three points, however it must be taken into account that the Australian had reliability issues – especially during the latter stages of the season, where the Russian was able to capitalize.
