Red Bull reveal canopy design
As the FIA have confirmed they will push on with plans to introduce the halo protection in 2017, Red Bull have released pics of their canopy design. Team boss Christian Horner has stated in the past that he is not a fan of the halo device, announcing that Red Bull had an idea of their own. 'Personally I don't like it,' the Red Bull team boss said last month. 'I understand that driver safety is absolutely of paramount importance, but for me I think I am a little bit more of a purist of open cockpit racing that has been there for 60 years – and there is danger associated with that.' He added: 'We have made our suggestion that is more of a canopy, with a slightly more elegant solution....
