Montoya: Porsche 919 ‘a hell of a toy'

Former Formula One driver Juan-Pablo Montoya was delighted at the opportunity to sample Porsche's World Endurance Championship machinery in the post-season test. It was confirmed last month that Montoya would be driving the championship-winning Porsche 919 Hybrid at the Bahrain end-of-season test, with the Colombian being linked to an outing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race next year. Montoya proceeded to top the time sheets at the end of day two in a test which included regular competitors Anthony Davidson, Mike Conway and Benoit Treluyer.
