FIA admits mistakes made during ruling of 2014 turbo era
The FIA has unexpectedly revealed to the media that the ‘unfair' rules made during the ruling of the 2014 era were mistakes, which eminently is hampering low-budget customer teams. According to AUTOSPORT, the price of getting an engine for a customer team is around 20million. During November's Mexican Grand Prix, there had been huge debate subjecting reducing costs for supply of customer engines from 2017 onwards, where rules are believed to be revamped; in bid to suit the fans demands of ‘better racing' and ‘louder engine sounds' and seemingly the needed factor, a lower price for customer teams to compete at a competitive level.
