Both Ferrari drivers pick up grid penalties

United States Grand Prix – Both Ferrari drivers have received grid penalties for this Sunday's race in Austin. Ferrari arrived in Austin with a new specification power unit available for use, having utilised their remaining engine tokens for the season. Despite Sebastian Vettel still being in with a mathematical chance of the Driver's Championship, Ferrari appear to have conceded a 66 point deficit is not a realistic amount to overturn and have decided to take an engine penalty when not strictly necessary.
