Renault brings upgrade to US GP

 XPB Images Renault is set to provide Red Bull Racing with a substantial engine upgrade in Austin, should the British team choose to use it. It is understood that the French manufacturer has now exploited a large part of its outstanding 12 token allocation to increase the specification of its power unit. While Renault is making the upgrade available, the decision to use it will depend solely on Red Bull. But any change will result in a grid penalty as both Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat have exceed their engine allocations.
