Valtteri Bottas left rueing Williams tyre error

Belgian Grand Prix – Valtteri Bottas feels that he and his team missed out on P5 after a crucial tyre error during the race at Spa-Francorchamps. Bottas ran in the top five in the early stages of the Belgian race, but a tyre error made by Williams during his first pit stop left the Finn scrambling to recover lost time. Emerging from his first stop, it quickly became very obvious that the FW37 was fitted with mismatching tyres. Three of his tyres were Soft compound Pirellis, but the right rear tyre was a Medium – mismatched tyres are against the regulations and he was given a drive through penalty.
