Wolff apologises for Hamilton pit blunder

– Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has apologised to Lewis Hamilton for the pit blunder that cost him a near certain Monaco Grand Prix win.Hamilton was called into the pits for a fresh set of tyres after the deployment of the Safety Car for Max Verstappen's dramatic crash.But team-mate Nico Rosberg and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel stayed out on track, with Hamilton unable to recover when the race restarted."We've lost Lewis the Grand Prix with the mistake," Wolff told Sky Sports."We thought the gap was a different one that it actually was, then he [Hamilton] made a call and said the tyre temperature has dropped and there is no grip anymore."A complete misjudgement, we...
