May 20th, 2015 (GPracingplus).- The speculation is over. The long wait to know about Lewis Hamilton’s future has finally ended today. On Wednesday, Mercedes made the announcement that the current and two time champion, Lewis Hamilton, has renewed his contract with the team for which he will race until 2018. After months of speculation, delays and public negotiations, media reports said the reigning world champion's new three-year contract will see Hamilton earn about $50 million per season until 2018, but that has not been confirmed by any of the two parties.
