Sainz happy to prove doubters wrong

Carlos Sainz believes his performances in the first five races of the season has showed that 'Red Bull was right' to hand him a seat at STR. The Red Bull bosses' decision to pair 17-year-old Max Verstappen with 20-year-old Sainz at Toro Rosso this year raised a few eyebrows as it is the youngest driver line-up in F1 history. While Verstappen has made plenty of headlines as F1's youngest racer, Sainz has quietly gone about his business and he picked up points in three of his five races to date.
