McLaren-Honda must dominate - Dennis

Ron Dennis admitted he wants the revived McLaren-Honda partnership to dominate Formula One like the team did during the record-breaking 1988 season. McLaren-Honda broke a number of records during the 1988 season as eventual winner Ayrton Senna and team-mate Alain Prost won 15 of the 16 races in the season - a tally Mercedes equaled in 2014 albeit in a 19-race season. "The 1988 car was very late and at the time testing was unlimited so when we arrived at Imola all the other teams had clearly demonstrated their competitiveness," Dennis told Autosport.
