Rosberg: I absolutely believe I still have a chance to take the title in Abu Dhabi
Nico Rosberg has reiterated his belief that he can still clinch the Championship crown during next weekend’s season-finale at Abu Dhabi, despite sitting second in the Drivers’ Championship and 17 points behind team-mate and rival Lewis Hamilton. For the German to be crowned Champion he needs Hamilton to either retire from the race or suffer a woeful weekend.
Despite storming to an extremely commanding victory last time out at the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos, where Rosberg managed to end all three practice sessions fastest, secure pole position and take victory ahead of Hamilton, he remained second in the Championship after the Briton finished a competitive second.
