Caterham has announced that Kamui Kobayashi will complete the whole Japanese Grand Prix weekend, with Roberto Merhi replacing Marcus Ericsson for FP1. Having been dropped for the Belgian Grand Prix, Kobayashi returned in Monza but had to sit out the first practice session as Merhi made his F1 debut.
