Prost claims Formula E pole

Nicolas Prost has secured pole position for the inaugural Formula E race in Beijing despite tagging the wall on his second run. Prost, son of four-time Formula 1 World Champion Alain Prost, was in action in the third of the four qualifying sessions. Posting a 1:42.200 in his electric-powered Spark-Renault SRT_01E, the Frenchman went to the top of the timesheets. However, on his second flying lap he tagged the wall putting paid any improvements.
