Wolff: Radio rule needs clarification

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff says that the FIA's decision to clamp down on radio messages between drivers and the pit wall needs clarification ahead of next weekend's Singapore Grand Prix. The FIA has issued a directive banning communication to the driver which will affect his performance and that of the car. Coded messages will also be prohibited. The rule change has been implemented through strict enforcement of Article 20.1 of the 2014 sporting regulations, which states that a driver must act 'alone and unaided.'
