I must close gap in Hungary - Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton says it is 'important' he closes the points gap to title-rival Nico Rosberg at next weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. Hamilton is 14 points behind his Mercedes team-mate after third place in the German Grand Prix as Rosberg won. 'Undoubtedly it is going to be important as it always is to regain points but anything can happen during the weekend,' Hamilton said. Hungary is the 11th of 19th races this season, and heralds F1's summer break. Hamilton started Sunday's race at Hockenheim from 20th on the grid after a brake failure in qualifying left him 15th on the grid, before he was also hit with a five-place penalty for changing his gearbox, which was damaged in the accident.
