Indian rumours 'malicious'
Indian GP organisers have slammed speculation that the race is to be dropped at the end of this season as "totally baseless and malicious."
Reports emerged earlier this week claiming that the India would be holding its final race this season with the event set to be scrapped.
However, Askari Zaidi, the spokesman for Jaypee Sports International, insists the race at the Buddh International Circuit will run until 2015.
"Some international news organisations are trying to spread rumours that JPSI may not host 2014 Indian GP. This is totally baseless and malicious," he said in a statement.
