Alonso: Second tastes like a win

Fernando Alonso may have lost more ground to Sebastian Vettel in the title race but says he has only reasons to celebrate his runner-up result in Canada. Starting sixth on the grid after his F138 lacked pace in the cold and wet on Saturday, the Ferrari driver soon began to make up positions in the dry on Sunday. Once again demonstrating that Ferrari's race pace tops their short-distance pace, Alonso worked his way up to second, finishing 14.4s behind Vettel. "Yesterday we didn't have a good qualifying.
