Webber Fastest On Drying Track In Short FP3
Mark Webber topped a shortened final practice session ahead of qualifying in Montreal later today.
The start of the session was delayed by half an hour after repairs to a barrier were needed following a heavy crash in a Ferrari support race. To further compound problems for the teams and drivers, rain had fallen again, meaning just like the first session yesterday, the track was damp but drying.
With little time to complete much running, and track conditions not ideal, the opening few minutes saw few of the leading contenders setting representative times. Instead, it was left to the Sauber of Esteban Gutierrez and Williams of Valtteri Bottas to make the most of an empty track, as the two...
