Maldonado fully recovered
Pastor Maldonado says he is feeling no ill effects after his heavy crash at Tabac during the Monaco Grand Prix two weeks ago.The Venezuelan was squeezed against the barrier by Max Chilton during the race in Monte Carlo, firing the Williams car into the air before colliding with the TecPro barriers. Such was the force with which Maldonado hit the wall, the impact dislodged the barriers, bringing them onto the track and causing a red flag.
Whilst the 28-year-old may not be have suffered any long term injuries in the crash, his FW35 was heavily damaged and thus Maldonado will be racing with a new chassis in Canada.
