Mika Salo Tests RallycrossRX Machine
Former Formula 1 driver Mika Salo joined Albatec Racing in a private test at Premier Park in Porvoo.
Salo drove Andy Scott‘s 600bhp, two-litre, 16v four-wheel-drive Peugeot 208 alongside Scott as Albatec Racing prepared for the fourth round of the FIA European Rallycross Championship at Kouvola, Finland.
The former Ferrari driver took the wheel of the re-built #26 Albatec Peugeot 208, having returned from the third round of the RallycrossRX at Nyirad, Hungary.
Salo completed several runs around the purpose built rallycross circuit at the Rudus facility, even treating some of the Finnish media to laps around the course.
