Pre-race Thursday to be 'Open House' in Canada
Organisers of next month’s Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada 2013 in Montreal have announced that an ‘Open House Day’ will take place on Thursday, June 6 at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. The free initiative will allow fans to spend up to four hours exploring the pit lane, witnessing F1 cars being worked on, and speaking to team members.Visitors will also get the chance to take an up-close look at the unique trophies - designed locally by the BRP Innovation and Design team - that will be awarded to the drivers and teams who will climb on the podium at the conclusion of the Canadian race on the afternoon of Sunday, June 9.And near the F1 garages, fans will be able to see the...
