Schumacher returns to action
Michael Schumacher got back behind the wheel of an F1 car over the course of the weekend with his demonstration run on the famed Nurburgring Nordschleife.The seven-time champion was taking part in a special event ahead of the Nurburgring 24 Hours and drove a 2011-spec machine in what was the first appearance for a modern Mercedes F1 car on the famed track.Schumacher was one of four drivers on track at the same time, with the quartet released at staggered intervals with the aim being for the four cars to reach the finish at the same time.Bernd Mayländer was the first driver to set off at the wheel of a Mercedes A45 AMG with Karl Wendlinger and Nico Rosberg following on driving the E63 AMG...
