Paddy Lowe to join Mercedes early

It was announced today that former McLaren Technical Director Paddy Lowe will join Mercedes on June 3rd. It had been expected that Lowe would join the Mercedes team after his McLaren contract expires at the end of the year, but an agreement has been reached between the two teams, and Lowe will now join Mercedes as Executive Director (Technical) and will work closely with Ross Brawn.
