F1 board supports Ecclestone

Bernie Ecclestone will remain the boss of Formula One "unless" he is convicted by a German court. According to a German newspaper, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung, the Formula One supremo faces charges of "bribing a public official" as well as "abetting breach of fiduciary duty." Ecclestone and his lawyers have yet to be notified of the charges officially as the documents are still being translated into English. Once that happens, he could face a trial in Munich to answer the charges which related to the F1 bribery scandal during the sale of the sport to CVC.
