Button welcomes Honda's return

Jenson Button has applauded McLaren's decision to team up with Honda and their "world-beating technical innovation" in 2015. It was confirmed on Thursday that Honda would supply 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engines to McLaren from 2015 onwards. The deal has been welcomed by Button, who like McLaren in the 1980s has a previous relationship with Honda. The Brit raced for the Honda-powered BAR team from 2003 to 2005 before Honda purchased the team in 2006, running it as a full works team for three years before selling it to Ross Brawn.
