Lewis Hamilton struck with five-place grid penalty

Lewis Hamilton has been struck with a frustrating five-place grid penalty for this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix, only an hour before the start of the all-important qualifying session around the Bahrain International Circuit. This comes after the Briton suffered a left-rear tyre failure towards the end of third practice, which in turn greatly damaged his rear suspension.
