Webber to start from pit lane

Mark Webber will start from the pit lane at the Chinese Grand Prix after Red Bull broke parc ferme rules to change the gearbox and make set-up changes to the No.2 car. Webber was excluded from qualifying and sent to the back of the grid for failing to provide a sufficient fuel sample on Saturday. His car came to a halt in Q2 due to a fuelling issue in the Red Bull pit, ruining his chances of a top ten grid slot. Red Bull has elected to change the set-up on his car in order to tailor it towards overtaking with longer gear ratios and more emphasis on top speed.
