F1: British Grand Prix: Sprint & Qualifying team notes - Mercedes
Kimi Antonelli took pole position for Sunday's British Grand Prix with George Russell qualifying P4. That came after Kimi took his first-ever Sprint victory having overtaken Lewis Hamilton on track with George battling hard to take P4. Throughout the day, the main challenge came from the Ferraris of the aforementioned Hamilton and team-mate Charles Leclerc. An early challenge from the McLarens and the Red Bull of Max Verstappen was countered by George in the Sprint and it was a battle between the cars of the three-pointed star and the prancing horse for pole. George survived an early off in Q1, caused by a heavy gust of wind, and recovered well to be in the fight in Q3. Kimi's final effort...
