British GP: Antonelli beats Ferrari duo to Silverstone pole position

Kimi Antonelli strengthened his Formula 1 title charge by claiming a commanding pole position for the British Grand Prix, leading a Mercedes front-row challenge as Ferrari emerged as the Silver Arrows' closest rival at Silverstone. The championship leader produced a superb final Q3 lap to secure his fifth pole position of the 2026 season, edging Charles Leclerc after both drivers found significant improvements on their final flying laps. It marked Antonelli's first pole since Monaco and ensured Mercedes remained unbeaten in Grand Prix qualifying this year. British Grand...
