Audi demo run sparks ADUO engine speculation
Jun.18 Audi has fuelled speculation that it may already be evaluating an upgraded power unit under Formula 1's controversial ADUO equalisation system. The German manufacturer put its 2026 car on track on Wednesday at its Neuburg facility, completing a demonstration run in front of employees. Officially, the exercise was limited to just 15 kilometres. Demo runs are among the most tightly restricted forms of Formula 1 testing, allowing significantly less running than filming days, which permit up to 200 kilometres and can be used to validate updates and gather basic performance data.
