F1: Audi wants to retain turbo

While Mohammed ben Sulayem is intending to bring back naturally aspirated V8s to F1, Audi is keen to retain the turbo. 'That's crystal clear from an Audi perspective,' Audi CEO, Gernot Dollner told reporters in Monaco. 'We prefer turbo due to the efficiency aspect. 'The most important aspect for Audi, is that we keep the idea of being sustainable and having a regulation that has energy efficiency in the focus as the main pillar of Formula 1 regulations,' he added.
