What time are the Formula 1 sessions for the Monaco Grand Prix?

The Monaco Grand Prix was supposed to be the middle event in a triple-header, but due to the cancellation of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, that is no longer the case. The weekend in the principality, the sixth of this season, marks the start of the European season. Many teams planned to start in Italy last weekend with many updates, but now get the chance to do so on the streets of Monaco. Because the circuit is so specific, not all race teams choose to do this. Mercedes will do it, while Ferrari will introduce their new rear suspension a week later in Spain.

In Monaco, though, excitement?

Red Bull Racing are (not surprisingly) again the big favourite in Monaco. Yet it might be more exciting than the five races before it. It is difficult to overtake in Monaco, so qualifying will be vital, and that is precisely where the competition seems to have some chance.

Indeed, the RB19 is a bit more vulnerable on Saturday than on Sunday. Aston Martin have identified Monaco as their biggest chance for a win this season. The AMR23 is particularly good in slow corners, whereas Max Verstappen's car excels mainly in high-speed corners. Moreover, Mercedes are bringing updates and so it could be a lot more exciting than perhaps expected beforehand.

As it looks, like last year, it is not going to stay dry in Monaco. Showers are predicted for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which could turn the weekend upside down.
