Perez's winning Racing Point to be auctioned
Online auction house F1 Authentics has organised a safe for the RP20 BWT, a replica of the car in which Sergio Perez took his first Formula 1 victory at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix.
The car was made by the Aston Martin team, formerly known as Racing Point. The car was nicknamed "the Pink Mercedes", due to its aesthetic resemblance to the silver arrow bolide.

An important mention is that the car is fully official but not functional, as it was only built to meet commercial aspects such as exhibitions or film shoots. The auction is entirely online and has a fixed starting price of £80 thousand.
With this car, Pérez achieved two podium finishes: second at the Turkish Grand Prix and the impressive comeback to victory in Sakhir, in addition to 125 points in the Drivers' Championship that saw him finish fourth for the first time in his career.
Four unique RP20 cars created
As if that were not enough, Aston Martin only made four RP20s in the world, so the lucky person who gets their hands on one will be in possession of a virtually unrivalled collector's item.
