It may be winter break in Formula 1, but for Max Verstappen there is no rest just yet. The two-time world champion will take part in the fourth round of the Le Mans Virtual Series next weekend when the 500 miles of Sebring is on the programme.

Next weekend, a full field of competitors with as many as 40 cars will start and drive 500 miles on the unique and bumpy Sebring circuit. Qualifying will be run on Friday and the race will take place on Saturday, 3 December. It is the last race before the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans, scheduled for January.

Familiar names

The list of participants again includes familiar names from the real racing world. Verstappen will once again appear at the start for Team Redline. Former Formula 1 driver and current IndyCar star Romain Grosjean will also take part, as will W Series driver Beitske Visser and Job van Uitert. Porsche driver Loek Hartog and Red Bull simulator driver Rudy van Buren will also start virtually.

The live broadcast of the race starts at 12.30pm Dutch time on Saturday 3 December. All the action can be followed live on the FIA WEC and Le Mans YouTube channels.
